You are welcome to tour their gardens and they have wonderful art exhibits from Japan and local artists. The grounds are gorgeous and offer beautiful valley views. Originating in Japan, they are dedicated to helping people realize they are world citizens able to act for the common good. They promote spiritual growth through interfaith activities, the practice of Natural Agriculture, and the sponsorship of cultural events. Visitors are welcome to attend their monthly Sampei gathering, which includes chanting, learning about Natural Agriculture and receiving Jyorei, an energy healing. After the sampai a healthy buffet luncheon with Natural Agriculture, local and organic ingredients is served.

This is an amazing spiritual center! It is parked at a very high place with a gorgeous view of the valley and the mountains.

Shumei regularly brings the arts to Crestone. The annual Taiko drumming performance is spectacular. On any day, you may drop in and receive a formal tour of the facility and a Joyrei blessing.
