Located at Sherman Field, visitors are allowed access onto base via the gate on Blue Angel Parkway.
It is a very beautiful spot with lots of surprises. Walk up 177 steps to the observation deck to see the wonderful view of the gulf with it's white sand shores, the trees, and you can be lucky enough depending on the season to spot Blue Angels practice their flight maneuvers.
Awesome lighthouse with great views next to the aviation museum. You'll need to enter through the West gate to gain access if you are not military personnel.
Built in 1859, the Pensacola Lighthouse has the most beautiful view of the Gulf Coast. Climb the 177 steps to the top, catch a glimpse of our famous Blue Angels practicing, learn about it’s Maritime history, and find out why it was featured on Ghost Hunter’s.

“Want to party. This is where to go. Seville Quarter is proud to be the Gulf Coast’s Entertainment Destination since 1967. They got a rich history dating back over five decades, when Bob Snow took a dilapidated 19th century warehouse on East Government Street and transformed it into “Rosie O’Grady’s Warehouse,” a beer-and-peanuts saloon offering up heaping portions of Dixieland jazz and good times. Since then, Seville Quarter has grown to include seven rooms — the original Rosie O’Grady’s, Phineas Phogg’s, Lili Marlene’s, Apple Annie’s, Fast Eddie’s, End o’ the Alley and Palace Café — each with its own theme and atmosphere. There’s also the Seville Party Plaza, an outdoor concert venue, and Heritage Hall, a spacious banquet and event facility.”

“The Grits-a-yahyah. Smoked Gouda grits (best in the world) and shrimp soaked in a loaded béchamel sauce. 5-stars. Sautéd crab claws, grouper bites and they even serve sushi. There is an adjacent restaurant Atlas that serves seafood and American style foods. Large outdoor deck is available facing the Bay with live music most nights. Dress attire is business casual to comfortable classy. ”

“Located on the water in downtown Pensacola. Great place to watch the Wahoos during the baseball season and Division 2 National Champion University Of West Florida Football team during football season!”
