We agree that NOTHING beats Flagstaff House. It is located in Boulder on the side of a mountain, so you get sweeping views of Boulder, Longmont and the rest of the front range as the sun sets. Sit on their patio if you can, for the best views. Call several days ahead of time to make reservations (or book online). They won’t allow you to reserve patio seating, specifically, so speak with the Flagstaff Host to get advice on the timing of your arrival if you are trying to get a seat on the patio. Unfortunately they are not super child friendly, but you can always call them to inquire about that. Our child is on the rambunctious side which would be fun for no one, so we haven't attempted yet.

Perfect if you are looking for an amazing view and European style dining. This is higher on the cost side and will require reservations.

Super spendy spectacular restaurant on the side of a mountain that looks out over the mountain and city. Go at dusk and request outside seating!
