Yummy Food & a great wine selection. We especially love the grilled cheese sandwich & french fries. Sit outside to watch the street cars pass by on St Charles Avenue.

Though it’s primarily a wine bar, The Delachaise has small plates and snacks that are filling enough to have for dinner, and perfect for snacking on with friends, inside or on the front patio overlooking St. Charles Avenue. Whatever you do, get an order of duck fat fries with malt vinegar aioli for the table

It's a cute little locals bar that's highly recommended. They serve great food and there's nothing better than a nice night outside there watching the streetcar.

Zagat online states that you can “drink wine and listen to the streetcar go by” at this “cozy” Uptown vino bar, where “upscale bar food” (including “to-die-for” pommes frites “fried in goose fat”) complements an “outstanding wine list” that's “really the centerpiece”; service may not be on the same level as the food and drink, but most agree it's still a “good setting for trying some new wines” – especially considering its wide by-the-glass offerings.
