The pick up will be made at the PORTELA DE SINTRA TRAIN STATION by 9:30 am. We will discover all the sites Sintra has to offer such as Palacio da Pena, Castelo dos Mouros, National Palace, Quinta da Regaleira and Monserrate Palace. The first stop will be at the Palacio da Pena, where you can visit and enjoy all of its interior. After the visit to the palace we will discover the historical center, see the National Palace and taste the famous local pastries. Then we will pass two more monuments (Quinta da Regaleira where you will visit INSIDE and Palácio de Monserrate from the exterior), going west to the coast. We will stop for lunch in an authentic local and traditional restaurant, heading to Cabo da Roca, known as the end of the World and the westernmost point of the european continent. After visiting Cabo da Roca, we will continue along the coast enjoying the magnificent view and stop in Guincho beach, to drink a relaxing and traditional Ginginha, enjoying the ocean breeze, ending our day in the center of the famous village of Cascais, the Portuguese riviera, where you can enjoy the village and catch the train back to Lisbon. But let’s cut to the chase, here is our Itinerary: (PICK UP AND DROP OFF FROM LISBON) 1st: “Casa do Preto”, a local known pastry shop, where we will eat a traditional delicacy pastry known as “travesseiro de Sintra”. 2nd: Quinta da Regaleira, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here we will brief you on the history of this magnificent Renaissance-style construction and its stunning gardens. We will also show you the many symbolisms which is believed to be related to alchemy, Masonry, and the Knights Templar. 3rd: A delicious and typical lunch. While going to this super traditional restaurant we will pass by multiple lovely and charming villages around Sintra’s Natural Park. 4th: Beach, please! What’s better than relaxing at the beach after a delicious lunch? Sintra has stunning beaches and who knows, maybe you’ll decide to take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. 5th: Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe, which was believed to be the edge of the world up until the 14th century. If you appreciate nature’s raw beauty, you will fall in love with this remote and untamed atmosphere. 6th: We will end our tour by driving back to Lisbon!

We meet at my Wonder Van Store in Sintra. Ready for a local insight of the best village in Portugal? Jump in my 4x4 Classic Portuguese jeep for our 1st stop: Quinta da Regaleira where you will have the chance and time to explore this magnificent estate , from the famous Well to it's one of a kind gardens! Surrounded by the immensity of Sintra & Cascais Natural Park, through secret off road trails and past traditional villages take some great pictures while having lot's of fun and ejoying the nature and fresh air! Next stop: the most western point of Europe, Cabo da Roca where the immensity of the ocean clashing into land forms a beautiful cliff with amazing views. After lunch (normally at a local restaurant) and a lots of non touristic view-points (to gaze upon the iconic sights) we head to Sintra's gem: Pena Palace for you to explore this world famous fairy-tail Palace! The surf school is 2 min walking from Carcavelos beach, equipped with bathroom, shower, lockers and areas to relax. Once you arrive I will give a brief explanation about the surfing activity and afterwards we will choose the proper equipment according to your surfing level. The duration of the lessons depends on your physical condition, but usually lasts around 2 or 3 hours. The surf school has a validated licence and insurance that covers all the experience. Other things to note I’m here to support you with anything you need. The surf school is nearby Carcavelos train station and we can pick you up whenever is needed. In case you don´t have towel, sunblock, etc. don´t worry we can provide it for you.

We will start the day with a pick up at Cascais or Carcavelos train station, and go straight to the best beach possible according to the daily conditions: Guincho, Carcavelos or Caparica. We start the surf lesson by choosing the right equipment for you, and teach you how to stand up on a board. After a quick warm up, its time to surf! No rush, we work with small groups so you will have your own time to learn and get better, wave by wave! The surf lesson will have around 1, 5 hours of practice where you will learn how to surf, by standing up and riding the waves with all our professional help! My goal is for this to be a super fun experience and the highlight of your entire Portugal trip! After the surf experience, we will drop you back at the train station closer to the beach. All surf equipment is included, and the surf Lessons are suitable for all levels and skills: From beginners to experienced. Everyone from your group will be welcomed and will have great fun with us! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer, we will create a custom and immersive experience for you. Having both early and late surf sessions, we will introduce you to the most incredible waves in the Portuguese coast and amazing secret spots and beaches. You will meet other surf lovers and meet the coolest locals. We will start our experience by introducing you the beaches and the waves and our crew, than we will live the most amazing experience on the ocean and after we can have some drinks together and share our thoughts. In one afternoon you can enjoy the best of Portugal’s stunning coastline, taste local Portuguese food and wine and go off-road in Sintra’s mysterious forests. Join us to watch the sun set into the sea with sand between your toes, salty hair and wine in one hand. We’ll pick you up in one of our legendary convertible jeeps and take a brief look at Sintra’s best sights and palaces before hitting our favorite forest tracks. These off-road, unmarked trails pop out at the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca. Our secret beach is a short hike away. The dirt trail twists along a steep route but it takes only 30 minutes to get down to the sand. Bring proper shoes for this part! Flip flops/thongs/jandals/foot wedgies won’t make the cut. Once we reach the soft, golden sand – just relax. We’ll set up a picnic spread of traditional Portuguese “petiscos” (our word for tapas) stacked full of cheese, chouriço (chorizo), bread and other snacks. You can swim in the salty ocean, kick a ball on the sand, or just sit back with a few glasses of local wine. You might have 99 problems, but a beach ain’t one. It can be challenging at some points. We will go to Sintra in our van for an amazing day, having a conversation about its most famous Stories! First we will go to the village historical center to see the National Palace and talk about our King D. Manuel I, then we will try the famous sweets from Sintra, "queijada" and "travesseiro". After we will go to the amazing Regaleira Estate and talk about its creator, António Carvalho Monteiro. Here you will explore freely its amazing gardens full of caves, waterfalls and secret tunnels that hide all the meanings of free masonry. Then we will head up the mountain and feel the forest of Sintra (where we can have a small picnic) and we will stop on an amazing viewpoint to see the Pena Palace, an icon of the Romantic age in Portugal and Europe. We will then head to "Cabo da Roca", the westernmost point of Europe, and feel the Ocean and its amazing cliffs! In the end we will come back to Lisbon by the Portuguese "Riviera" checking all the great beaches in our coast! We will leave you back in the city center with all the Stories we shared! Imagine kings and queens in mountain-top palaces, a kaleidoscope of bright colours. Magical forests filled with fairies, hidden treasure, or even ghosts. Our hometown, Sintra, is a region filled with real life castles and mysterious legends. Join us to explore this UNESCO World Heritage town known for its romantic architecture and landscaping. We’ll start the day with a visit to the magical Pena Palace, the red-and-yellow Disney-like castle that sits atop Sintra’s second highest peak. Next stop, lunch at a traditional Portuguese restaurant in a small village. Think fresh fish or tasty meat on the wood-fired grill and plenty of wine! After lunch we visit the 12th century Peninha Sanctuary. From here you’ll take in 360-degree views of the forest, the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. As we cruise around in one of our convertible jeeps we will take you off-road to epic lookouts and secret spots other visitors can’t reach. Snap Polaroid pictures at the coast, play epic tunes all day long and give you the chance to taste Sintra’s traditional sweet pastry and Port wine. Palace tickets (14,5€ per person) and lunch (25-30€ per person) are not included. Depending on the season the waiting times can affect or compromise parts of the rest of the experience as guides no longer have priority in the queues.

Hi everyone!! The idea of this experience is to provide the best possible full day in our hometown. Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Google location: https://g.page/TNDMII?share Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

In one afternoon you can enjoy the best of Portugal’s stunning coastline, taste local Portuguese food and wine and go off-road in Sintra’s mysterious forests. Join us to watch the sun set into the sea with sand between your toes, salty hair and wine in one hand. We’ll pick you up in one of our legendary convertible jeeps and take a brief look at Sintra’s best sights and palaces before hitting our favorite forest tracks. These off-road, unmarked trails pop out at the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca. Our secret beach is a short hike away. The dirt trail twists along a steep route but it takes only 30 minutes to get down to the sand. Bring proper shoes for this part! Flip flops/thongs/jandals/foot wedgies won’t make the cut. Once we reach the soft, golden sand – just relax. We’ll set up a picnic spread of traditional Portuguese “petiscos” (our word for tapas) stacked full of cheese, chouriço (chorizo), bread and other snacks. You can swim in the salty ocean, kick a ball on the sand, or just sit back with a few glasses of local wine. You might have 99 problems, but a beach ain’t one. It can be challenging at some points. You can expect a super fun lunch with fresh fish or delicious meat and lots of portuguese wine! (15€-25€ with everything included) • We'll be back on the road passing through dense forests to the Peninha Sanctuary from the 17th century. Built 500 meters above sea level, from here you will have a 360 degree view of the forest, the atlantic, Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. BRING YOUR CAMERA, the landscapes of this tour are BREATHTAKING! Our adventure begins through the countryside following the centenary tram line, towards Colares. You will have the opportunity to see the simplicity of our typical villages, and se the oldest Wine Cellar in the country, where you can get to know a little of Portugal's winemaking traditions, which remain intact, from the ancient times to the present day (not available on Sundays). Head to the coast, meet the considered “Santorini of Portugal”, – a small village between the ocean and the cliffs! Continue on the coast line towards the most famous beaches in the area, and as we are getting there ahead of the crowds, lucky enough to enjoy the vast ocean avoiding the vast “ocean of people”. Time for lunch at a 100% local restaurant where you will delight our typical dishes and good regional wine, on the top of the mountain. Through paths and trails, we continue our adventure taking you to our secret location, that can only be reached with the help of a 4×4 jeep. You will lose your breath with this magnificent setting, that you will never forget! We challenge you for some “off the beaten tracks”? Hold on tight, we will cross the mountain on “Adventure” mode! Let's “raise some dust” on our way to, Pena Palace. We can let you at Sintra Station, OR Historical Center, where you can explore Quinta da Regaleira, and we help with the tickets.
