Knowing Sintra like the back of our hands and all the magic it has to offer, we came up with what we believe to be the most amazing and complete way of experiencing its wonders in one full day! - Start the day in Lisbon in front of Dona Maria II Theater - Our first stop will be at the historic center of Sintra to discover its beautiful labyrinth like streets. We will talk about what makes Sintra so special while discovering its secrets and taste its unique pastry. - We will then discover the Palace of Quinta da Regaleira and get lost in its 4 hectares of mysticism and romantic arquitecture and gardens. - From here we will leave the tourists behind and go through the very picturesque and hidden towns of Colares, Penedo, Almoçageme etc. to reach the open atlantic coastline. - On the coastline we will go for a waterfront lunch before exploring its brethtaking cliff views and Cabo da Roca - The end of the World! -We will then have the best postcard like views of the Pena Palace and finish the tour with a visit to this unique romantic Palace. :) Other things to note Pick up and drop off in front of Dona Maria II Theater (15 walk from most areas on the city) Meals and Monuments fees are not included.

We’re having a special feature, today, Monday the 15th, from 17h00 to 19h00. LisboaLove Fado is the ultimate event to live and feel Portuguese Lisboa's traditional genre. Starting at 5PM on Friday’s and Tuesday's. I'll share some of our traditions and culture and a brief introduction to the history of Fado, to set the mood for our evening. The LisboaLove Fado takes place on an exclusive venue: my apartment! Please notice that pictures include also previous venues. It's a personal full experience only for the guests who book it, not joining a Fado Restaurant with others. For context I'll summarize the history of Fado. This will be followed by a 40-minute tribute performance to Amalia Rodrigues, Portugal’s most famous and well-loved Fado singer. I will add some commentary during the concert to resume the lyrics being performed. Since it is afternoon you may have walked a lot in our hilly city already, so we'll serve a snack of traditional petiscos. There's no Fado without some wine and olives too. But don't worry - I'm not singing :) A highly talented and recording Fado singer and musicians are performing for you!

No holiday in Portugal is complete without a visit to the Berlengas Islands. And there truly is no better way to discover these islands off Portugal than on a boat and kayak day trip from Lisbon. I'll pick you up in the center of Lisbon, and drive us to the coastal town of Peniche where we'll hop on a boat to enjoy a ride on the 'high seas' to the Island. When we reach our paradise, we will explore the nature, fauna, and flora of the Berlenga Grande Island. You will learn about the myths and legends linked to the multiple shipwrecks around these islands, which have made this an incredible playground for scuba diving nowadays. After our walk we stop at the Fortress of São João Batista and, depending on your preference, we can visit the caves and circle the islands by kayak or onboard a comfortable glass-bottom boat. Don't forget to bring a bathing suit. Now is time to relax a little at the beach for a light picnic snack and have some fun at the beach before the boat ride back to Peniche. To complete our Berlengas Islands day trip experience, we'll pass by the Peniche Fortress (Old political prision), Cabo Carvoeiro, and Baleal beach before we return to our original meeting point in the center of Lisbon. As passioned for Lisbon, we want to show you the city as we see it, so you can get to know the secrets and customs of the Lisbon people and conquer our 7 Hills. More than a regular and touristic tour, you can learn the portuguese ways and even our language. A tuk tuk is an open air, very small and special vehicle that allow us to go through all the narrow streets of the old part of the town. We will go through them in an easy, very fun and adventurous way to go up the big hills of Lisbon. Throughout this trip, we'll explain you the history of the city and the places where we'll go, we'll do a lot of stops so you can visit inside the monuments and take some photos of the beautiful views. In this tour we'll get to know the old part of the Alfama District that includes the oldest monuments of the city near the Castle (Sé Cathedral, Saint Vicent Church, National Pantheon) awesome high viewpoints (Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and Portas do Sol) where you can see all the city and the 25th April Bridge from the top of the Hill, and stop in the little iconic streets from the XII Century. At the end we will finish in the downtown so you can explore Lisboa with new eyes. Other things to note We have 2 Tuks, the red (3 seats), the pink (4 seats) = in total 7 seats. Une fois terminé, votre dessin sera scanné et transféré sur un carreau de faïence de 10cm sur 10cm ainsi vous repartirez avec votre vrai azulejos unique et un souvenir de votre voyage hors du commun. Si vous le souhaitez il sera possible d'acheter le kit Formettes Lisbon Collection et d'éditer d'autres carreaux ou objets pour rapporter en cadeaux mais ce n'est pas compris dans le tarif du workshop. We will sail along the Tagus river and enjoy the beautiful and full of history Lisbon's coast line. I always try to make this experience the most eco-friendly possible by using the sails, thus make it cleaner, if you want you can help me with the sailing activities or just relax. As the day ends you can enjoy Lisbon's beautiful sunset. This is a great activity for groups and families. I will be giving explanations and curious stories of Lisbon's history and of my voyages and sailing in general, and lets not forget the glass of port wine

In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO. The day starts at our meeting point and then we will be heading to the Valley. For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region) and olive oil. The second stop is at Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians. Still in Pinhão, we have a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical Rabelo boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a background view (the boat cruise is shared with other groups). The journey will continue through the National Road 222, one of the most iconic roads in Portugal, winner of the "World's Best Driving Road Award", which will take us to the second winery for more tasting, parings and story tales from the wineries owners. After that, we will return to Porto and arrive to Porto at around 6:00 PM.

I’m making a different offer from last year, more affordable. I’ve decided that instead I will show you my garden and prepare you a simple snack that you can eat here or take away. If you want a Takeaway meal, I would like for you to arrange with me before hand what you’d like to eat, and we’ll come up with a reasonable arrangement, price and pickup time. This is a friendly and informal snacktime just before dinner. If you’d like to buy a bread, let me know before hand and I’ll have it ready for you. Let’s talk about it. I’m keeping my offer at a reasonably low price so everyone has a chance to visit with a local person and see what life is about on this beautiful enchanted island called Flores. We are going to hike Pico mountain! Conquer the highest point of Portugal as well as the third highest point of the Mid Atlantic Ridge. Let the magnificent view on top of the mountain make you feel reborn. We will start our adventure at the first signs of day light to reach the top around midday. After a lunch in the crater with a view to make all of us silent, we will start the descent. During the hike I will give you more information about the geological formations, about the formation of the island and the vegetation we see. No matter what the view will be on top, if it is now a clear sky or clouds, I can assure you that you will experience one of the best moments in your life when you put your hands on the very top of the mountain.
