Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

The former crofthouse is the perfect spot to get away from it all. It is easy to lose yourself in “da Herra,” a magical place where ancient legends of giants and trolls abound. Welcome to my beautiful cottage in Unst. The cottage has a lot of history behind it and used to be owned by the poet Jackie Renwick. It is located in a quiet part of Uyeasound right next to the sea. The back gate leads out onto the sea where Killer whales can sometimes be seen from. There are otters very close by and often comes ashore on the beach alongside the house. The area is full of wildlife and is right next to a beautiful walk along the coastline to Belmont.
