Simple kitchenette, Television has DVD player no cable!, no WiFi!. Sleeps 2 comfortably. Some guests recommend 4x4 car but I go with my Nissan Leaf all year. Sólvellir 1: A nice cottage near Reykjavík

A forty-five minute drive away from Reykjavík, in the beautiful fjord Hvalfjörður and by the lake Meðalfellsvatn, the cottage Sólvellir is located. With the cottage comes a garden and a terrace with barbeque facilities and a hot tub. The cottage includes a private bathroom with a shower, a kitchen, TV and a free WiFi. The surrounding area is full of nature and has many exciting hiking trails, and during the winter there is a high chance of northern lights.
