The comfy living room with faux fireplace sits off the fully stocked kitchen/dining area to give you the perfect space to enjoy your stay. Relax on the private deck, grill your favorite meal and enjoy the serenity of nature all around you while enjoying the night skies at the firepit. Explore all over the property's 15+ acres of multiple foot trails or take the road from the house on your ATV to access the trails in the Tioga State Forest. This is a great pick for the nature lover in everyone with the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon nearby for hiking, the many lakes for fishing and boating, as well as State Game Lands for hunting. Only 25 minutes to the quaint Main St. of Wellsboro for shopping, dining, theater and many local events or take a lovely day trip north to the Gaffer District in Corning, NY or the scenic wine country of Watkins Glen, NY. **You are welcome to the limited supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and trash bags in our starter home kit. Please be prepared to bring any additional supplies you and your group may need for your entire stay. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Our cabin is ideal for a quiet get-away for hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, fishing, or even star gazing nights. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! Rustic Log Home Nestled in the Tioga Mountains

Our little retreat has a combined living/dining room with cathedral ceiling. It is modestly furnished, parking for 3 vehicles, cell service for most, Big TV & DVD player with a nice DVD library, washer & dryer. So sorry - no cable or WiFi yet. During the Winter season guests will need all-wheel-drive or 4wd vehicle to get up our drive way. We try to keep it plowed, but sudden accumulation of snow is usual in our neck of the woods. Guests must be able to climb stairs.
