During the process we had four words represent our design mantra - "cozy, modern, vintage, grandma." Papa's House - Secluded Getaway

Newly built log cabin with a soaking tub (please note: the bathtub is a little higher than usual and may be challenging for seniors or those with mobility issues), loft, and all the amenities. Vaulted ceilings, king size bed in the bedroom, futon couch/bed in the living room, and full-size futon bed in the loft. Your pet is always welcome here. Features a full kitchen, cozy pellet stove and private outside deck. 10 min from historic downtown and Rt. 66. 15 min to Walnut Cyn, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Parks. 45 min to Oak Creek Cyn/Sedona and 70 min to Grand Canyon. 40 min from Snow Bowl. The mountain view is stunning. Dark night skies perfect for star gazing. A honeymoon favorite. Friendly neighborhood.

Kachina Village Treehouse

While not technically a treehouse, this log cabin is 79 steps up, sits above ground level and is surrounded by ponderosa pines! Once inside this cozy and peaceful home, you'll feel like you're in your own private treehouse. Located in Kachina Village, just 8 miles south of downtown Flagstaff, you'll get to enjoy dark skies and quiet evenings while being close to all of Flagstaff's attractions. Please note that you DO have to climb all 79 steps and cross a foot bridge over Pumphouse Wash.
