The Gathering Place

Take advantage of kayaking the Niobrara River, spending time at Merritt Reservoir, taking long walks with scenic views, fishing, hunting, visiting the winery, hiking, experiencing farming and ranching, or just enjoying a book by the pond. You're sure to leave renewed and refreshed and planning your next visit!

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Bunk Cabin. Great space for a small group!

The Bunk Cabin is located in the small community of Martin, SD. There is a campground right on the premises as well. The cabin has 1 full bed, a twin over twin bunk bed, and a small couch! It’s also equipped with a 3/4 bathroom, sink area that has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We also provide a grill and hot plate. Great for your weekend getaway to Martin whether you’re in town to hunt, watch the local sports, visit family, attend events; we would love to host you!

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

Enjoy a unique South Dakota experience! Stay in a custom designed, fully furnished grain bins! Featuring a spiral staircase to a Queen size bed. connected bin has another bedroom with one Queen Bed and Twin bunk beds. Bathroom with a shower. Coffee bar, tv and other amenities inside of the grain bin. We also have an outdoor seating grain bin with a fire pit and a gorgeous view! Plus, enjoy a private lake with an outdoor seating area and free kayaks for your use.

Cozy Cottage

Cozy Cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. Kadoka is a TINY (population 600) safe and quiet town on the edge of the Badlands. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from Rapid city/Black Hills. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!

Comfy Western Style Rustic Tiny Bunk House

Before there were tiny houses, there were bunkhouses. This is a one room cabin style space with the bath providing a partial wall separating the bunks and kitchen. The western touches and wood ceiling in this tiny bunkhouse create a cozy getaway. It is the perfect stop and stay while exploring the Badlands National park .

Suite 2

Located a block away from the local bar and restaurant. This space is right across the street from the park if you have kids and want them to stay active during your stay! The student run grocery store is a short walk a way and has all the goodies and amenities you would need during your stay.
