Glacier View Alaska near Pinochle Trail. Cabin #1 Small cabin at the Pinochle Trail Campground and near trailhead and the Matanuska Glacier. Hike or ride from your cabin. 4 sleeping bunks with foam mattresses, electricity, heater, coffeepot, and hot water kettle provided but you'll need to bring pillows, sleeping bags, and WATER. An outhouse is in the woods by the cabin and in the campground. If the snow is too deep you may have to park at the trailhead parking and walk 300 feet to the cabin.

One bathroom has hot water, electricity, and internet. Dogs are welcome. A charcoal grill is ready for experienced users, and a firepit can be enjoyed when burn bans allow. The cabin sits on our 320-acre homestead in rural Kenny Lake, surrounded by forest, open skies, and quiet, a true Alaskan escape.

We have loons, eagles, and some other Wildlife. On 17 mile lake. Has trout, so bring a pole. Great couple getaway. Questions just ask.

This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.
