Located just outside of central Ulaanbaatar, you can spend the day in the city and enjoy the local cottage experience at night. This area is where all the locals stay in the summer to enjoy fresh air and spectacular views. There is a mountain nearby that makes for an easy beautiful late afternoon hike. Terelj is also rich in history, legends, and natural monuments, which is considered one of the oldest rock paintings in the world.

Peaceful and close to nature

The whole group or individual person will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Good place for hiking. You can enjoy the silence and peace and still close to city, approx. 20 km from city center. Transport to the house can be arranged with small additional cost. There"s a bus station, but car is recommended. Guest can make a fire in ger (Jurti). You can cook yourself and enjoy the nature. The view is fantastic.

Mongolian traditional Ger home

First, you will meet me at my house in Ulaanbaatar. Then you will go with me in my car to the countryside. Visit a simple local family. You will see the nomadic culture in real life. I will provide you with useful information and advice. Ger, Mongolian traditional dwelling, Ideally suited to Mongolia's harsh terrain and lifestyle, the ger is called a yurt by many foreigners.
