This park is listed on the Historic National Landmark. The original Victorian gazebos are located throughout the park, and there is a great little hideout on the northeast end of the park- a heavily wooded spot with a neighboring prairie grass restoration. There is also a great Farmer's Market on Saturdays as well as great festivals throughout the year.

Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is one of the oldest botanical institutions in the United States and a National Historic Landmark., as well as the National Register of Historic Places.
The entrance is on the north end, and there are plenty of sights to see from the Turkish Gardens, Japanese strolling garden, the Arboretum, the Geodesic Dome and more. They have great live music on Wednesdays evenings in the summer where people bring elaborate picnics and hang out in this stunning set. In the fall there is the Best of Missouri Market and the Shaw Art Fair on Flora Avenue next door.
