Clayton's is a Yarmouth staple. Great spot to pick up (or enjoy there) a cappuccino, sandwich, salad, pastry, etc. You can purchase wine here as well and I must say they have a great little selection. Their lemon bars are a must!!

It's a wonderful local spot where you'll see lots of families, friends, and neighbors getting together. It's a very vibrant spotl. If you like oysters, crudo, good wine and beer, this is the place to go! It stays consistently busy from about 5:30-10:00p so be prepared for a busy scene but it's worth it. The oyster bun is out of this world and a must try!
They do have sidewalk tables on nice days with heat lamps. Portland chefs Mike Wiley and Andrew Taylor are James Beard Award winners.

Take time to explore the East End also referred to as Munjoy Hill in Portland. Beautiful views and excellent food scene. The Front Room has been a longstanding restaurant and makes an amazing Benedict. Also make a pretty mean Bloody Mary.

Maine Beer Company brews just 10 minutes up the road from my home. They keep to traditional Brewery hours, closing around 5p. You'll see many locals drinking around the area drinking beer from their fancy bottle. Try the Peeper or Lunch.
