The formica table tops and restaurant supply warehouse clearance booths add to the specialness of cafe chihuahua. They serve menudo all week and the queso fondito is what I would wish for if I found a genie in a bottle...three times.

This place has been here for something like 40+ years and is truly one of a kind. Bring cash an appetite because they don't take plastic and don't mess around. If the US senate met here they would finally unanimously agree on two things : a damn fine steak doesn't have to be expensive and garlic bread is actually utensil.

Wash park is a really well maintained park with a couple of lakes and great places to picnic, run, roller blade shirtless with a fanny pack...whatever. A very popular option for fit people and cute puppy watching.

Ruby Hill is an 80 acre park that will debut an outdoor music venue in the summer of 2017. The park also had a really well maintained bike skills park, a winter terrain park, pool, community garden, pavilion, running trails, and awesome views of the city and continental divide.
