This is a great moderate hike up Spruce Mountain. The trailhead starts on Spruce Mountain Rd. It is 5.5 miles with an elevation gain of 600ft. The views at the top are amazing.

Several great easy hiking routes with stunning scenery. Take 105 north about 10 miles. Try the Jupiter Valley Loop (3.4 miles) or the Sandstone Meadow Loop (3.7 miles). Both are fantastic. Take your dogs.

Beautiful 5.1 mile easy loop. Great for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Take Highway 105 to Tomah Rd. It’s about 15 minutes away.

This is a beautiful place to hike. The reservoir is bright blue with incredible rock formations. The contrast of the blue water with the rust colored rock is stunning. There are also great views of Pikes Peak from the reservoir.

Taking a trip to Pikes Peak is amazing. You can either take the cog railway out of Manitou Springs or you can drive. Either was is awesome. Make sure that you take coats. You will be at an elevation of over 14,000ft and the temperature is MUCH colder up there. We took the cog once and it was 82 at the bottom and in the 20s at the top.

Great road trip, especially in the fall when the aspens have changed color. Fun mining / western town with cute little shops, lots of casinos, and a mine that I've heard goes 1000 ft down. We have not done the mine tour but have heard that people love it, especially kids.

This is a fantastic zoo built in to the side of Cheyenne Mountain. Our favorite part of the zoo is feeding the giraffes. They have a lovely Christmas light show at Christmas time.
