It's a pleasant drive from our house of only 14 minutes on Highway 22 to Windy Hill Beach and Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets, and the Mall. You can easily access both Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, then return to perfect privacy and ambiance on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Myrtle Beach is known for its myriad of fun activities, gorgeous beaches, restaurants, golf, and shopping.

Food scene
Barefoot Landing has fantastic restaurants and fun shops and activities. Very close to Windy Hill Beach and a short drive from our house. Our fave restaurant there is Greg Norman Australian Grille

We love this place! The food is fabulous and the atmosphere is great. Note that Joe's Bar and Grill is in a little triangle of parking lots that include Joe's Hamburgers and Joe's Ice Cream (no inside seating BTW) and they are very close to Windy Hill Beach. All highly recommended.
