Site of the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition (AKA St. Louis World's Fair), which, legend has it, was the birthplace of the waffle cone, and the first time many foods were introduced to such a large number of people. These include Dr. Pepper, the hamburger, the hot dog, iced tea, and peanut butter. Forest Park also hosted the Summer Olympics that same year. The first time the Olympics were held outside of Europe.

This place is tiny. A holdover, design-wise, of the '40s and '50s bar style diners. A word of warning, not only is the place small, so is the menu. Also, the owner may seem like you are intruding on his watching Korean dramas in the back, but he really is nice. More importantly, the bibimbap and bulgogi are some of the best I have had anywhere. I think the fact that its cooked on a flat top has a bit to do with that.

Part museum, part playground, fully unique. Where comfortable clothing no matter your age, because everyone is expected to climb, crawl, and otherwise interact with the City Museum. There is a ten story slide.
