Taxi is the best way to move around
Taxis are widely available in Punta Cana, and can be found at the airport, hotels, and popular tourist areas. It is important to agree on a price before getting in the taxi, as many drivers don't use meters.
You can also Rent a car. There are several rental cars agencies such as Alamo Rent a Car, Hertz Car Rental, Budget Car Rental among others.
There are options available for public transportations including buses and "guaguas" (minivans), however, these can be crowded and uncomfortable. They do not have specific time schedule.
