It is free! You can go there for an hour and explore and then go home if you get tired since you don't have to try and get your money's worth. My favorites are the polar bear, grizzly bear and sea lions (all easily accessible from the north entrance).

It is the biggest city park in America! It has the zoo, art museums, Muny Theater, golf course, boat house and history museum inside of it. There are lots of trails all around the park and you might spot deer, owls, hawks and maybe even a bald eagle in winter!
