There are a lot of ice cream places and gas stations, but few that do both. United Dairy Farmers is the best mix. Gas prices are usually a little bit lower than competitors, and the ice cream inside the store will definitely make the whole family happy.

if your kids can swim: take them kayaking
there are so many different companies that will get you out on the Little Miami for a day on the water. Rent kayaks or canoes, pack a cooler and drift down the river. Milford Canoe and Kayak will rent the gear to you, drop you off up river, and help you out and back to your car at the end of the day. Perfect way to spend a hot summer day in Cincinnati.
