I believe this is the first purpose built museum, they have a few paintings from masters and regular temporary exhibit that usually get fantastic reviews by people in the know. There is a nice cafe there as well and peaceful gardens.

Trees, grass, regular events in the summer, a lido, some ducks, a wall garden, and a quite big playground. At the top of the hills you can see the skyline and somewhere towards brixton you can peak into the back garden of a house than was on the design show :) - Perfect for a jog too.
