Our unit is close to a variety of great hikes and beautiful scenery. A good website to view for sightseeing is VisitGolden at: https://www.visitgolden.com/things-to-do/outdoors/.
This is a great spot to start your Golden vacation. They have local volunteers to answer any questions as well as a variety of brochures on local attractions. This is located only three blocks walking from the unit. Another great website to review before your trip is www.VisitGolden.com. They have the latest scoop on things to do, places to go, and an updated calendar on local events.

This recreation center is right up the hill from our unit. Enjoy a full fitness center, two indoor swimming pools (one pool is a children’s heated pool with a waterslide and the other is an adult lap pool), group fitness classes, and a large climbing wall.

There are multiple outdoor activities to enjoy in Clear Creek including walking/biking/running trails, kayaking, and tubing. It gets fairly crowded on the weekends so enjoying it during the week is ideal.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is not only a great place to see a concert but also a geological phenomenon. It’s the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world. It’s also a great spot for tours, biking, exercise (run their stairs!), shopping and dining.
