You want to eat where local eats, is always delicous home made meals at incredible prices. Can not go to La Calera and not have "Caldo con Costilla y Arepa" Perfect for the cold morning

Pack for cold weather
La Calera is about 10 miles higher than Bogota so is colder. Pack warm clothes for the evenign and early morning. Wear comfotable shoes some street are stones or not paved and there are lots of heals.
