This is a historic mansion built 100 years ago by Dupont, the famous inventor of plastic fiber and nylon.
The mansion is beautiful and it is built with a lot of precious wood. It is located directly next to the water and it has a wonderful view to the sea. There is a café/restaurant.
The beach there is amazing; we love to go there every now and then for bath in that beach, next to the mansion.

This is a beautiful harbour with beautiful ships. Blue and white all the way. It is located at the end of the peninsula of Varadero, so you get to discover the whole peninsula when you visit it.

Nature preserve since 1974 with caves containing a 2,500-year-old human remain & ancient pictographs.
For people that hike on a regular basis the trail is fairly underwhelming. It does have some beautiful rock formations and a bit of storytelling scattered along the 15 sites you'll pass.
The reserve is a self-guided trail that will cost you 5 CUC. It takes about 45 minutes to complete. You are given a paper map listing each sites on the ecological reserve.
The main attraction is a small little cave with an uncovered skeleton. Very cool, in my opinion. However, I suggest not to go in the afternoon, since it can be very hot and humid with flies biting you. Maybe it's better in the morning when it is a bit cooler.
Good shoes is a must!

Snorkel and mask makes it more interesting, especially when swimming through to a connected and well lit cave. Arrive in your swimming gear if possible as changing on site can be a bit challenging if it is busy.
