How about a local favorite!! Cool off at this 20 min away secret!
A very nice and well maintained walking route. It is an entirely elevated walking path through the wetlands. Get your work out in, walk in a single direction or 2 mile round trip. Then float down in the cool spring water! There is parking lots at both ends but the north lot would be used for the canoe/kayak launch. There are several swimming docks along the creek and several sitting areas. It is an enjoyable time.

Vintage, locally owned place! Not the commercial miniature golf. Go to Goofy Golf in Fort Walton Beach, 10 min away. Its been in business since 1958. For the last 50+ years, families and friends have enjoyed the fun and "goofy" atmosphere of our miniature golf course.
Cash only, it is like $3.00 a person. Also, no shade, so go early morning, or late afternoon or night.

My husband retired from Eglin AFB, and this place is off base. Easy drive from our place, FREE, just a donation at the door. They have so much history, and you might even catch a retirement ceremony! stop inside, amazing military retirees have so much knowledge to share with you. I love this place.

Al, my husband is there, and he will show you some local honey, sold there. The 3rd generation daughter came and saved the family Bee Business! 30A Honey, and soaps. Great gift to take back home!
