Best bbq in Savannah, hands down. Which is a shame because there is a duck-fat-fried chicken finger sandwich on the menu called the Wally that is DELICIOUS and it makes the decision very hard. I love their smoked sausage, pulled pork, and all of their sides. Plus the restaurant is located in a full intact Streamliner diner car, so it's tons of fun!

Best bakery in Savannah, hands down! They have a couple of award winning cookbooks, so don't miss out on visiting this much-loved bakery in person. It's a little out of the way of downtown so it's mostly full of locals. They're famous for their cupcakes but I love their banana pudding, bourbon bread pudding and super chicken sandwich.

It's a little out of the way of downtown so it's mostly full of locals. They're famous for their cupcakes but I love their banana pudding, bourbon bread pudding and super chicken sandwich.
One of Savannah's swankiest restaurants, located in the beautiful, historic Mansion hotel. This is the place to go if you're celebrating a special occasion (it's worth going just to marvel at the interiors and the fancy bathrooms).

One of my favorite restaurants in Savannah--I've been here for many birthdays! The interior is understated, the food is delicious and the cocktails are fun. They have a rooftop cocktail lounge these days, or so I'm told.

Beautiful Forsyth Park is perfect for jogging, sunning, strolling, tennis and people watching. This is where the locals hang out, and you'll almost always find it full of adorable kids, dogs and lots of people having fun.
