Sloane Square is in Chelsea and has a really good selection of cafes and shops stretching down the Kings Road.

This new development sits on the site of the old Battersea Power station (you can see the chimneys from the flat). They are always opening new things here so you will usually be able to find a restaurant or bar

I am throwing this in for the adventurous visitor! Tamesis Dock is a boat with a bar that overlooks parliament. Best accessed by hopping on the 360 bus which takes you to Vauxhall then walking along the embankment. Alternatively an Uber is a couple of pounds
