Favorite places to eat.
There are a lot of places that you can find tasty food, both in the wide area of our cottage house as well as in the beautiful city of Kalamata. The choices that we mention are indicative and based on our personal taste. As we travel a lot, we know that it's important to get an advice from a native person about the local cuisine, because that way you are going to taste traditional flavors. So take a look.....

Gaitanaros' Tavern
Τhis fish tavern is famous for its fresh fish and for its idyllic location (picturesque harbor and traditional settlement). You will have the opportunity to enjoy your meal and your Ouzo right next to the sea. In a short distance from the house (five minutes on foot) is located the pizzeria of the village. It has many types of pizza, pasta and other dishes. The tables are on the seaside and the atmosphere in the evening is very romantic and relaxing. In addition, during the day you can swim in the clear crystal water. Tip: Try pasta al forno and special pizza with Filadelfia cheese!!!

At the "Lithari" you can drink your coffee and taste delicious snacks.
Ιs a good choice for the day as you can go for swiming at the organized beach of Archontiko but it is also a good choice for a drink at night. Tip: Some evenings you can listen to live music...

"Kardamo" (at central square of Kalamata) is our first choice to have lunch or dinner!! You can taste traditional flavors as well as special recipes..all of them are delicious. The wine is very good...and the service is excellent! The place is very nice and modern..
After the dinner/ lunch they offer dessert!
Tip: We suggest you to try (pastitsio) and chesseballs with orange jam!!!

21 Sidirodromikou Stathmou"Kardamo" (at central square of Kalamata) is our first choice to have lunch or dinner!! You can taste traditional flavors as well as special recipes..all of them are delicious. The wine is very good...and the service is excellent! The place is very nice and modern..
