Chris & Mady's is a staple of Playa Cofresi. For as long as I have been going to Villa del Caribe; Chris & Mady's has always been there to welcome my family and I on the day we arrive. The food and the environment is always enjoyable. This is one place you can go, sit back and enjoy an El Presidente beer, or a fabulous Brugal rum neat, while you sit at the bar watching the latest baseball, football, or hockey game. Enjoy - it is worth it.

Because if you love to eat Italian cuisine, then you will fall in love with Stefe E Natale as my family has done. Instead of the standard bread basket, we always request a rosemary and sea salt infused focaccia that is amazing. Pizza is some of the best I have ever had, and well what can I say, the tiramisu is heaven.

Tim and Juanatia's is yet another place that is great to sit back and enjoy yourself. The food, Latin - Mexican cuisine, is prepared by Juanita and her dynamic team. We always make sure we make Los Charros one of our mandatory places to stop and enjoy overtime we are visiting Playa Cofresi. Enjoy yourselves.

Jose Luis is one of three supermarkets in Puerto Plata. the store is about 5 miles from Villa del Caribe, so you will need grab a taxi there. They have two floors, with food on the 1st floor and general everyday items on the 2nd floor. Yes, you can also purchase alcohol here, including wine. But you may not find some of the brands you find in the US - experiment you will find some great new buys that you will not find here.
