Super busy in summer. 2nd greatest spot for full moon rise, best spot for local watching, and boats coming in and out of the harbor.

Easier/longer hiking trail is called the "carriage trail" about 2 miles from the center on Route 52, cars park on pull off on side of road. An all season trail, well used.

Several good seafood options for lunch. Takeout or eat outside. Low tide on the big beach is pretty cool, goes on forever. During the full moon rises you can usually find a few parties and bonfires on these beaches.

Great, easy and beautiful walk or bike on gravel drive along the ocean, local swim off the granite ledges in almost any weather! Parking in off season at the Children's chapel or the Rockport golf club to walk. Can drive and park on the point in summer if you must.
