City transportation
The city of Lauderdale by the Sea is a small and quaint beach city sandwiched between Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach. The city has remained true to its residents and visitors by not allowing high rise buildings. Unless you’re a vacationer who likes to explore you can rent a car locally for a short time. Other than that, ride sharing is your best bet and most economical. Also, the city offers free on and off shuttle throughout the city on the Pelican Hopper. New to the Town is the “Circuit” it’s and electric cart that will pick you up anywhere in the Town and take you around town for free.
