Francis Park iin the St Louis Hills neighborhood is a vibrant area which hosted many yearly events at the park including the nationally sanctioned "Gateway Classic Bicycle Race", the Free "Grub 'n Groove" food and music event in mid August, biannual House Tour, and the very popular month long Christmas lights extravaganza around "Candy Cane Lane" and other similar name streets between Thanksgiving week-end and New Years.
