It's on the river and right outside the French Quarter. When you're done, there are lots of many great places to see and food to eat. On the weekends there are lots of street shows and entertainment. There are also many art galleries in walking distance.

There's a walking/running/biking trail around the golf course. You can see ducks, geese, and lots of other animals around. There are play areas for the kids. You can walk across the street and explore Tulane University and Loyola campuses. And the Zoo is just across the street.
