Worth a trip right up Sawyer to the corner of Cottage. Also try Willard Scoops near Willard Beach & Scratch. Gourmet ice cream. Lobster rolls affordable but they don't toast the buns.

For those of you who like to poke around and explore small historical museums, this is a good one. A mile from the house along the Greenbelt, right by Bug Light Park.

Great beach for humans and for dogs. Summer has special hours for dogs - early & late. But only a mile away, playground, rocks to climb on, good sand and restroom facilities. Buy food/drink at Scratch
