Also, an hours drive to Colorado Springs, Cañon City (Royal Gorge Bridge), La Junta, and San Isabel Mountains (Bishop Castle). Enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the back patio and annual Balloon Fest during the Chile Festival.

Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay. This comfortable house has been updated to include some unique features that will take you back to Colorado's history from the 1859 Pikes Peak Gold Rush to the days of the railroad. We have the cowboy room, the railroad room, and the Master Suite with its tasteful decor featuring southwest art from local artists. The kitchen is fully stocked and you can park in the 2-car garage. Plus we have added a large hot tub to the back patio and a privacy fence.
