Or for the adventurous drivers, an hour and a half scenic 4x4 or 2x4 drive from the same town. The lodge is run completely on solar power with water sourced from a well on the grounds, This may mean a little less appliances, but also an abundance of quiet reflection.

This is a magical place with total exclusivity if you are longing for that and adventure in an extraordinary setting. You have the lagoon as a calm private beach and you can take a 10 minutes walk to the wilder Indian Ocean. The house is perfect for a couple or a small family. From the Bilene village to the house you take a 10 minutes boat trip. If you have a 4x4 car you can drive around the beach and it takes almost one hour. There is a spectacular bird life with more than 26 species.

Surfers Paradise Villa with pool

Casa Branca sits 20 meters from Tofinho beach with ocean views from two entertainment balconies and various seating and siesta areas. The front entrance invites you into the manicured garden with a 13 meter long pool alongside. The open plan, double volume communal space is tastefully decorated and family friendly with sliding doors leading out onto the ground floor deck. There are three bedrooms (2 en-suite) at ground floor and two en-suite bedrooms upstairs with large verandah.

Beach Villa is approximately 4 km from Villankulos. At the bottom of the garden is a private gate for beach access. Beach Villa is in a private secure estate of 14 houses with security, and Estate Manager Mel is available to answer any questions during your stay. Only a 15 minute drive from the airport, the house is fully equipped for 11 people. All rooms are en-suite with mosquito nets and air conditioned with high speed Wi-fi. The lodge restaurant and bar are 200m away with amazing food and cold beer, overlooking the vast Lake Nhambavale. A vehicle with high clearance is required to reach Nhambavale Lodge, 4x4 is preferable.
