This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

There is minimal electric via solar. There is also outdoor lighting on the porch. 3 miles to Lake and approx. 35 minutes from the National Sand Dunes

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

This property will provide you with hours, days, even weeks of peaceful solitude. In a quiet neighborhood at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains the structure was built by an American Lama in the Tibetan tradition and was subsequently sold to an American student in the Tibetan tradition in the early 90s. Therefore the space has a sacredness about it that is difficult to find in this commercialized world.
