Spend a day on the lake and take advantage of your private dock (dock is seasonal due to winter water levels being low) Bring your boat (trailer parking on property) or use our kayaks to paddle around the cove. After your lake day, retreat to this cozy bungalow on a wooded lot. Grill-out and enjoy the outdoor eating area, sit by the fire or chill on the deck overlooking the lake. Close to boat ramps and marinas who offer gas dock, boat rentals and restaurants.

Escape to our fairytale, on 100 secluded acres of gorgeous forest on Lake Wedowee/river (short walk to water down road). Soak in the hot tub, bake a pizza in the wood-fired oven, snuggle in nest swing or stroll the river road to swim or kayak. Hike to Wolf Creek and pan for gold. You’ll love our place because you have the whole house to yourself, it's in a family friendly neighborhood, it's quiet, and it's completely furnished. It’s very convenient to Point University, Kia, Calloway Gardens, and more. It's within a fast (interstate) 30 min. to many major places and events, such as Auburn Football (only 20 min. from park and ride at Tiger Town) and East Alabama Medical Center. Families and friend groups welcomed.

Shanty in the Woods

In the country but close to everything. 2 min from I-185; 4 min from I-85. 1 hr. from Atlanta airport or Auburn. 45 min from Columbus. Unit is private comfortable rustic Studio Apartment with bath, for 1 or 2 ppl - (1 queen bed). Pool out front door! We live in separate log house next door - where 1 bedroom (queen) @ $35 is usually available for ADDITIONAL guests in YOUR party. Brkfst sometimes available for a fee by request.

Cap's Caboose 30 minutes from Cheaha State Park

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains. Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.

Come relax and enjoy camping without the hassle! Our remodeled 19-foot camper sits in our backyard on 4 wooded acres, just 15 min from stores and attractions. Enjoy nature with an outdoor sitting area, private fire pit, grill, and access to our playground. Perfect for a cozy getaway under the stars and a great base to explore nearby sights and activities. No pets or service dogs due to our child’s severe allergies.
