Rescued River Retreat

A renovated 1890's two-story home overlooking the Mississippi. The upstairs has 2 large bedrooms: one with 2 full size beds, the other a queen size bed. Additionally, the living room has a sleeper sofa, so easily sleeps 8. The kitchen offers everything for cooking a family meal and the dining room has a large table. Enjoy the charming vintage bathroom while taking a soak in the claw foot tub. Whether you stay a weekend or more the laundry room has a wash sink, washer and dryer for you to use.

This modern cabin is situated next to the 2200 acre Princeton Wildlife Management Area, and the nearby Mississippi River. This cabin could be your base of operations while you're in the area. Sit back and relax on the large deck while enjoying the local wildlife, flora, & fauna of the Mississippi Valley Region. The cabin is remote enough to view the stars at night.

Close to Restaurants, bars, boutiques, and a sprawling bike path. This apartment is the lower level of a duplex. I live upstairs. Fire pit in the summer with a view of the Mississippi River. Full kitchen, dining room, living room. Feel free to spread out and make yourself at home in this spacious blissful one bedroom with a king sized bed.

We are 5 min off I-280 / I-74 near Augustana College, John Deere, Rock Island Arsenal, etc. Cozy apartment with kitchen w/dining, large private bathroom, family room w/dining area, couch/hide-a-bed and futon, large bedroom and a 2nd bedroom/workout room. Free parking in our driveway and high speed internet.

View of the river Centennial bridge lights In fall, bugle calls from Arsenal at 6:30 am 9:30 and 10:00 pm. Very quiet safe neighborhood on narrow low traffic cross street. Walking distance to bars (live music on weekends) restaurants, shops, kwik shop, coffee shop, Lindsey Park playground, water taxi on the river, 70 mile bike trail.
