We had a great experience staying in Patricia and Vicente's place. It really feels like someone's home. The location is wonderful and the communication with the hosts was excellent. The parking access is steep and works best with a small and nimble car. All of central Lisbon is really close.

Stylish apartment located in a great part of town close to the castle. Patricia was very helpful and had many tips about where to eat.

The location is very nice. Having to deal with your car constantly being relocated each night is a challenge. If renting a car, you are taking the risk of leaving your car in locations that may or may not be overly safe. The fact that the circuit breakers were constantly tripping was a hassle. You will not be able to have the toaster and the main lights on at the same time. All that being said, the view from the bedroom is spectacular.

The place is unique and give you a great starting point to explore the old part of Lisabon. We recommend that to future guests.

Great stay: the host is very responsive and friendly. The location is ideal, in the centre with a supermarket nearby, in a safe and calm environment. Be careful though: parking in front of the house is not authorized anymore (city regulations). There is a free carpark very neat but the car cannot stay on Tuesdays and Saturdays (market days). Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous house in an amazing location.

Beautiful home in an amazing location with awesome hosts. I was worried this might be too far from things but it is so central! There are wonderful restaurants a block away. Gato Pardo and Damas were our favorites. The thieves market on Tuesday’s is literally right at the end of a driveway. The view was amazing from the living room of the water and Sao Vincent’s. Great location in the Alfama district, and yes, prepare to walk up and down the steep streets. The space is eclectic with open concept and on three levels. Probably not for families with young kids or if you are not comfortable clibming stairs without railings. Parking rules unfortunately changed so the parking space is no longer available.
