This is a cool place to walk or ride you bike. It is a 3 mile loop around the back Cove in Portland. There are a lot of people walking, biking, pushing strollers, jogging, etc. There is a big parking lot that is free to park. Great place for families to burn off some energy! We like to hit the Great Lost Bear to fuel up after a trip around the loop.

Enjoyable 3 mile walk around back cove, dog friendly but on a leash.

Running/walking trail— 3.5 miles around Back Cove. Urban with beautiful views of the cove. Skip over to East End walking trail for a longer walk.
