We returned to St. Louis to visit family and ate at this restaurant. We lived not far from this area, and 20 years ago would hesitate to walk through the area. The corner and surrounding area is greatly changed for the better. This restaurant is within walking distance of the Missouri Botanical Garden and a longer walk from The Grove section of the city. There is outdoor seating with considerable flora separating the tables from the street and making a pleasant setting. Service was good and attentive. The food is Mediterranean in style, flavorful, and there are offerings not usually offered in many restaurants. The food prices tend to be a bit higher. Wine enthusiasts will likely be disappointed in the wine selection. However, we found we could access the wine list from the next door restaurant (apparently associated with Elia & Olio) and the selection has upscale wines, unfortunately with considerably upscale prices. This restaurant is a mixed bag; interesting food, enjoyable setting, but tending to be costly.
