Free concerts in the summer, the famous bean, picture perfect view of Chicago, free ice skating (does cost to rent skates) in the winter, great restaurants within walking distance, CTA and Union Station nearby.

Millennium Park is part of the larger Grant Park, located in downtown Chicago bordered by Michigan Avenue to the west, Columbus Drive to the east, Randolph Street to the north, and Monroe Street to the south. Its centerpiece is a 110-ton sculpture name Cloud Gate, which has a polished, mirror-like stainless steel surface that was inspired by liquid mercury. It reflects the surroundings, including buildings, the sky, and the tourists who walk through its central arch.

It's the jewel of the city, absolutely can't miss it. Some of the best public sculptures in the world, one of the biggest and most beautiful outdoor concert venues in the world. Just the heart of the city in a lot of ways. If you're here in the summer the FREE concert series there is not to be missed. Bring a picnic and a blanket or chairs and watch a concert as the sun sets over the city.
