Great place to walk around, there's a small park, a free museum, ride to the top of the arch as well - might need an appt* Plus there's a sweet river boat ride, they also offer food on the boat

The capsule ride to the top of the Gateway Arch is definitely worth the money. You'll remember the trip and view forever. At the base of the Arch, on the waterfront, paddlewheel riverboat rides on the Tom Sawyer and the Becky Thatcher. By car: 10 minutes

The Gateway Arch National Park was recently completely redone for a unique and beautiful experience in downtown STL. There's a few walking paths below the Arch with great views!
