One of the largest collections of mosaics in the Western Hemisphere. Early 19th century. Located at Lindell Blvd. at Newstead Ave 63108
The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, also known as the Saint Louis Cathedral, is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church located in the Central West End area of St. Louis, Missouri.
Home to one of the largest collections of mosaics in the western hemisphere. Breathtaking, beauty. Also visit the historic Old Cathedral, or MOCRA (St. Louis University's Museum of Contemporary Religious Art).
Truly amazing experience. The inside is full of mosaics that are incredible. There is also a neat walking garden on the left-hand side. There is also a museum in the basement for a small cash donation.
