Rent a kayak or paddleboard for the day. They'll deliver it and take care of all the rest. They have lots of local insight of where to go and what you might see.

If you are feeling adventurous, rent a kayak or stand up paddle board and enjoy the tranquil waters of Venetian Bay, paddling among some of the most beautiful real estate in Naples. Watch for Dolphin, Manatees and many different marine birds. They also run great tours out of Delanor Wiggins State Park.

One of my guests rented a Hobie Mirage Kayak (it has a little motor attached) and from our dock was able to explore more areas then those having full size boats. If you like boating or fishing from a kayak, this is an option to consider.

This is a great place to take kayak and paddle board lessons if you want to do these activities in Everglades City, yet aren't sure how. You can also purchase kayaks and paddle boards here for your own use if you wish to go that far, and can manage to do so.
