15 miles. Check out the carrousel, the mining museum, restaurants, and enjoy the drive. Many mountain hikes, bus to Hessie townsite and trails etc.

Mountain town, 30 minutes outside of Boulder. Check out the 4th of July trail and then have some hot cocoa or pizza in town. Great views, beautiful trails.

close by little mountain town accessible by bus from Boulder. Great hiking- you might even encounter a moose.
