The first of the two islands are referred to as Causeway A, the second Causeway B. You can pull your vehicle right up to the edge of the water at the Sanibel Island Causeway beaches. Causeway B is much larger than Causeway A, and it’s amenities include drinking fountains on both sides of the road, restroom facilities, and a few picnic tables. Grilling is permitted, and leashed pets are welcome. The Sanibel Island Causeway beaches are also a great place to watch dolphins!

Nice beach with gulf views, great for collecting shells! Great for swimming or off shore fishing. You can drive up almost to the water. Sand has a lot of sharp sea shells so water shoes is recommended.
